All-American Meatloaf Sliders

2 pounds ground round
2 large eggs
3/4 cup milk
1/2 cup quick cooking oats
1/3 cup dry bread crumbs
3/4 cup chopped onion
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon coarse grind black pepper
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
1-1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese

Preheat oven to 375 degrees F.

Whisk eggs and milk together in a large bowl. Add oats, bread crumbs, onion, salt, pepper, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, and cheese; stir until blended well. Crumble beef over top of mixture; mix well, shape into two rectangular loaves (about the same size around as the slider buns), and place on ungreased sheet pans. Bake 30 minutes; remove from oven and spread some ketchup evenly on top, if desired. Return to oven and bake 30 minutes more until the internal temperature is 160 degrees F and the meatloaf is cooked through. Remove loaves from pan and let cool.

Slice loaves to desired thickness and place one slice on each slider bun. Dress up as desired and enjoy with your favorite Glorie wine.
